evaluation

My finale idea came at quite well the way i wanted it in fact, the quick cuts and the different side of the posters and the outcome of the posters was better then what i imagined, as i tried to get them as close to an actual Dr martens poster advert. i feel that the posters where the easiest to do and the one that works the most is the full yellow one with feet dangling from the top, with the boots on. i would say that the video was good and the way it has turned out is great but i did go wrong by putting footage on that was set to a frame size of 4:3 and not 16:9 (which is the frame size we should be using). Even though the video still works very well i feel that i could improve on the video by putting footage that i have shot that has the frame size of 16:9 so then the video is at a higher standard then having to resize the footage to fit  the frame and so it doesn't look fuzzy or disorientated and blurry, and if i had more time i would have re-done the whole editing and put the...

secondary research stats - pie charts demographics - interpret ad storyboard - shot data - relatable - repeatable question and answers - several observers data - validity - believable Secondary research  Looking at Dr marten Airwairs reviews it shows the majority of the people who have brought them quite enjoy the colours and how comfortable they are  screen shot from the website showing the ratings of the different categories and the overall which are pretty high ratings the lowest being 8.7. This is the evidence from the reviews on the 1460 W Boots  my secondary research has come straight from www.drmartens.com/uk/en_gb/p/11822600 with the written reviews from actual costumers who are some what satisfied with the product that the brought and how comfortable they are and how stylish they are. I found someone on youtube reviewing a pair of 1460 W Boots and even though at the start she says they didnt fit her and that wearing them made h...

data research

i created a survey to give me an idea on what people like and what they don't like, i started of with the simple question for example what gender you are and what is there age, then i went on about shoes, what size shoe they are and what shoe company they prefer more, the majority picked converse as the shoe they liked more and they all agreed that the shoe crocs is what they disliked most. if i did a hate video on the shoe brands crocs would be the number one id be talking about but my advert isn't about that and with this research i have come up with a good variety on what people like and what they don't.

Rebellion Advert The target audience is 15 to 40 aimed at male and females, Dr martens is aimed to the working class but my advert is to those who care to defy the way they look and rebel against the normal look, it would be based to those who live in England and Britain this is based on the research of knowing that the brand was commonly known by the different groups of starting with, the mods in the 1950s-60s, then the skinheads in the 1960s-70s, and the goths & punks in the 1970s-80s, to grunge in the 1980s to the Brit pop from the 1990s to the 2000s. So in this advert we are going to see the different shots of different Dr martens and the different types from the boot to the brogues that they have produced, and they would be quick cut, but it will show difference and friendship in the ways I imagine the shots to go. There isn’t really any characters because there is going to be a loud of different people wearing the shoes in each shot I plan to use and there...

Analyzing two different tv adverts.

Analyzing two different adverts. The importance for advertisement. Firstly it tells you what the product is and gives a story line to  helps promote a new product such like perfume and sportswear or the new iPhone   they show the object and give us the viewers a pitch to what the object is and what it does and how much one may coast. Sometimes the show a funny side to their object to get people the views to buy the object that they are promoting, they can also show the guilty side to a view who is watching to encourage them to buy the object at hand but most adverts have some sort of celebrity involved within the advert for example the snickers advert they use a wide range of celebrities starting from Mr T to Mr bean and now they are using Elton john in their new advert for 2018 but also there are many that use iconic moments and turn it to sell there item through either a famous song or a famous movie for example the flash advert, they use the queen song and...

first idea

The Animas vibe Advert My target audience is based from the age of 8 to the age of 25 and either male or female and it is to someone with type 1 diabetes who take insulin, about four hundred thousand people in the UK would most likely be interested in this because that is how many people have type 1 diabetes in the UK, (fact from JDFR), and twenty-nine thousand of that number are children. The outline to my advert is that it’s going to be like a sales pitch like the hoover adverts I am going to show the pump first with my character holding it and saying what it is, then I will cut to someone who still injects with an insulin pen and with a voice over saying why the Animas vibe is the better option and why injections isn’t as good projecting the pros and cons to the pump and the pen, then I’m going to cut back to the character holding the pump telling everything that comes with the pump and how much one coasts which is of £2,000 (that’s just the pump on its own) and what it ta...

foxy's lesson

the clip we just watched kinda made me confused it was random things cut together, with fast cuts  between each other and it was loud music. the min age or the max age is from 13, 15, 18 status.  gender   male female class   s.e.s.  high class/ middle class/ low class educated  race  white/ black/ asian  income  the wage  mobility transport  location where they live census, clusters, people?  population in the uk is 66.02 million people demographic  marketing  Geodemographic profile (for product) aim at  England and Japan and Sweden  main priority is age, gender, income, race & ethnicity  advert (commercial) mail, show exhibits, web promo, email, youtube, Instagram, twitter and Facebook product - poster - ad buyer persona by the same person  within this lesson we learned a lot on how to pick the audience for the project and we got shown an advert th...

introduction to the project

for this project i am having to create an advert of an object that already exists and I am picking between two things either an adverts of my insulin pump, or an advert for dr Martens but I'm not sure yet, which we have to create a 30 seconds video and three print based adverts.
